Plant operators and maintenance crews, placed to last.

GrizzlyTrek Group Ltd. is a Technical and Indigenous Workforce Partner headquartered in Calgary, Alberta. We place field and plant operators, SAGD operators, power engineers, and maintenance trades at gas plants, SAGD facilities, and processing sites across Canada. Every candidate is screened, ticket-verified, and field-assessed, and we provide a 30-day replacement guarantee on every placement.

Turnover on an operating site is expensive, so we build placements to last. Workers deploy fully insured under GrizzlyTrek payroll, arrive with transportation and HSE gear provided, and receive retention check-ins after the start date. Eight Indigenous partnerships on a revenue-share model and 5,000+ self-identified Indigenous profiles mean your site also gains the Indigenous participation your procurement commitments require.

Operators and maintenance

Why GrizzlyTrek for operations

Ticket-verified before the gate

Every candidate is screened, ticket-verified, and field-assessed before they reach your site. HSE tickets and D&A testing are verified up front.

Placements built to last

We support workers through the full project, not just the first shift. Transportation, ticket renewals, mentorship, and retention check-ins keep operators on the job.

A guarantee that holds

If a placement does not work out, we replace the worker. We provide a 30-day replacement guarantee on every placement.

Insured and prequalified

Workers deploy fully insured under GrizzlyTrek payroll. We are prequalified through ISNetworld, Avetta, and ComplyWorks.

Depth behind every shortlist

We shortlist from 100,000+ technical resumes in our national database. Hard-to-fill operator and power engineer roles get real candidates, not a reposted ad.

Common questions

Straight answers.

What certifications and tickets do GrizzlyTrek operators carry?

We verify tickets and safety certifications before any worker reaches your gate, and HSE tickets and D&A testing are confirmed up front. For field and plant operators, SAGD operators, and power engineers, we check each candidate's certifications against the requirements of your specific facility. You review candidates whose paperwork is already verified.

Can a contract operator convert to a permanent hire?

Yes. Our Indigenous Talent Stream is a contract-to-permanent model: workers are placed, supported, evaluated on real work, and converted to permanent when the fit is proven. When a client hires the worker permanently and we backfill the role with another Indigenous candidate, the conversion fee is waived in full.

Does GrizzlyTrek place operators outside Alberta?

Yes. Our head office is in Calgary, Alberta, and we place crews on industrial projects across Canada. We place field and plant operators, SAGD operators, power engineers, and maintenance trades wherever your site is, and tooled and insured vehicles are available for project work.

What roles make up a GrizzlyTrek maintenance crew?

A typical crew draws on millwrights, mechanics, electricians, pipefitters, and instrumentation technicians, with maintenance personnel and support staff as required. We build the crew around your equipment, your schedule, and your site requirements. Every member is screened, ticket-verified, and field-assessed before mobilization.
